Breeze Constant-Torque clamps are designed to stop or greatly minimize hose cold-flow leaks. Typical applications are sealed systems where clamps cannot be re-tightened, systems where clamps are difficult to get to, applications require higher torque, large diameters, extremes of heat or cold, or system expansion or contraction. Constant-Torque clamps are specifically recommended for bus, truck, and heavy duty equipment, air intake and coolant connections. Standard Constant-Torque are designed for torque compensation at installation torques from 50 to 125 inch/lbs. However, Constant-Torque clamps can be custom engineered for greater or lesser stress/load factors, to customer specifications.
